Instruction and practice in oral and written English for students whose native language is other than English. (CIP—Pass/Fail)

Outcomes:

The cadet will:

  1. Develop basic ability to understand English as it is spoken in North American academic settings through various listening activities.
  2. Be able to speak on familiar topics in English through practice or oral presentations.
  3. Be able to read or listen to a passage and then speak about what they've read or heard through TOEFL iBT Prep practice.
  4. Be able to speak a sermon of their choice in English through speaking activities.
